Terms and Conditions

1. Price

a. All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless otherwise stated.
b. CrazyCampers reserves the right to change prices, specifications, or product availability at any time without prior notice.
c. Any typographical, clerical, or other error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, or other document issued by CrazyCampers shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part.

2. Product Compatibility and Installation

a. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to ensure that their vehicle, mounting system, and accessories are compatible with the purchased product, including roof load ratings, mounting points, and weight distribution. CrazyCampers accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage, loss, or claim arising from or related to vehicle compatibility of our products in connection with any specific vehicle or mounting system.
b. Installation and use of CrazyCampers products must strictly follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and any written instructions provided (including but not limited to user manuals, or written communications from CrazyCampers). Improper installation, modification, or use inconsistent with the above recommendations will immediately void any warranty and may create safety risks for which the customer assumes full responsibility.
c. CrazyCampers accepts no responsibility for damages or losses caused by third-party installation or advice.

3. Use of the Products

All CrazyCampers products are designed for recreational camping use only.
Use of CrazyCampers products for purposes other than recreational camping is strictly excluded from these Terms and Conditions, Refund and Return Policy, and Product Warranty Policy.

4. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, CrazyCampers is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the use or misuse of our products, including but not limited to:

  • Vehicle damage

  • Installation costs

  • Loss of income, business interruption, or profit

  • Personal injury

  • Any other secondary losses

Under no circumstances shall CrazyCampers be liable for any damages exceeding the original purchase price of the product.

5. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Refund and Return Policy

1. Change of Mind Returns

At CrazyCampers’ sole discretion, we may accept a return request for eligible products within 7 days of delivery, subject to the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original, undamaged packaging.

  • You must contact our team at info@crazycampers.org and obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) before sending any products back.

  • All return shipping costs are borne entirely by the customer.

  • A restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price will apply to cover inspection, testing, and handling costs.

  • Returned products remain the customer’s responsibility until received and inspected by CrazyCampers.

  • Returns will not be accepted for products that have been installed, used, modified, or damaged in any way.

CrazyCampers reserves the right to reject any return that does not fully comply with these conditions.

2. Damages to the Products

All products must be inspected upon delivery.
Any transport damage, missing parts, or incorrect product must be reported to info@crazycampers.org within 10 business days of receipt, with clear photographic evidence and order details.
Claims made after this period will be rejected.

CrazyCampers will assess all claims and, at its discretion, arrange replacement, repair, or partial refund in comparison with the pre-dispatch Condition Report.

3. Refund Processing

Once a return is approved and the products are received, inspected, and approved, refunds (if any) will be processed via the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Shipping costs, restocking fees, and handling charges are non-refundable.

Product Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage

All CrazyCampers products are supplied with a 1-Year Structural Warranty, covering manufacturing or material defects arising under normal private recreational use.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.

2. What Is Covered

  • Defects in materials or workmanship that materially affect the structural integrity or intended function of the product.

  • Failures occurring during normal use (as referred to in Term 3 of the Terms and Conditions above), provided the product has been correctly installed, maintained, and operated in accordance with all instructions and limitations.

3. What Is Not Covered

In addition to our above Terms and Conditions and Refund and Return Policy, this warranty does not cover damage, failure, or loss resulting from:

  • Incorrect, improper, or unauthorised installation or modification

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, overloading, or operation outside design parameters

  • Commercial, rental, or fleet use

  • Normal wear and tear, fading, UV degradation, corrosion, mildew, mould, or staining

  • Accidents, collisions, fire, flood, storms, or other acts of nature

  • Use of non-genuine parts or accessories

  • Repairs or alterations not authorised in writing by CrazyCampers

4. Warranty Claim Process

To submit a warranty claim:

  1. Email info@crazycampers.org with your order number, proof of purchase, detailed description of the issue, and supporting photos or videos.

  2. CrazyCampers will review the claim within 5–10 business days and may request that the product be returned for inspection.

  3. Unless the product is confirmed to be defective under this warranty, all transport and inspection costs are the customer’s responsibility.

  4. If the claim is accepted, CrazyCampers will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or refund the product.

  5. All replaced or repaired parts remain the property of CrazyCampers.

5. Limit of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • CrazyCampers’ total liability is strictly limited to the cost of repairing, replacing, or refunding the defective product.

  • CrazyCampers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including but not limited to vehicle damage, installation costs, downtime, or loss of income.

  • Warranty remedies apply only to the product itself and do not extend to any shipping costs, associated equipment, vehicle, or installation labour.
